Feb. 26 The special building at the Raman Institute in which the diamond research takesplace. The walls are four feet thick to maintain an even temperature while the diamond is in the spectroscope for as long as sometimes 120 hours, recording the light it reflects from the Carbon atoms of which is composed. In the near future a huge telescope will be fixed on the roof of this building so Sir C.V. Raman can study the spectrum of Sunlight
