Mar. 31 Children Of War In Former Yugoslavia: The UNICEF -led November 1-7 Week of Tranquility campaign in the republics of former Yugoslavia reached ore the200, 000 children with high protein biscuits, clothing, blankets and medicine. Agreed to by ball warring factions and supported by UNHCR and other relief agencies, the week achieved a full in the fighting and was the first phase in a program to reach a million children with essential winter supplies by the end of the month. UNICEF also supports an immunization campaign in all warring areas, as well as projects for more than 104 million children now traumatized by the ongoing conflict.
