May 05, 1963 - Thirty five year old Dane becomes a millionaire.: Thirty five year old Danish engineer Ole-Bendt Rasmussen has become a millionaire as result of his experiments in which he managed to produce Textiles from Plastic Fibres. His invention has been purchased by an American Oil Company for about 2, 000, 000 Danish Kroner. Rasmussen has been working on his experiments for about ten years and they have already cost him about a million kroner. It is believed that his invention will enable synthetic fibres to be used for clothes shirts curtains and all kinds of yarn. He has already had many inquiries from many countries in Europe.
