Nov. 11, 1960 - New Treatment Gives Hope To Children Wives: A new treatment giving hope to childless wives who want a baby of their own, has been developed by Dr. Carl Gemzell, 50-year-old Professor of the Caroline Hospital in Stockholm. The first two of six women given the new treatment have both had twins. Hormones are given by injection. The treatment least a month. Dr. Gemzell described the case of Mother No. 2, who had been unable to have a baby throughout her seven years of marriage.
