Feb. 02, 1964 - Gaston Naessens in Paris: French Biologist Gaston Naessens who has claimed that the serum that he developed can cure the killer disease leukaemia, but which the French Government has declared to be useless, has flown to Paris to answer charges of illegally practicing medicine and pharmacy - for he is not a doctor. His air fare from Corsica has been paid for by staff at the Airport, and he was given a great send-off when he left.
