Nov. 11, 1962 - The latest in Cycling - The Mini Bike: Alex Moulton, the man who designed a revolutionary suspension system for the Morris minicars, has turned his inventive attention to the bicycle. Taking up the challenge that nothing could be done to improve the bicycle as it is now, he has produced the Moulton Bicycle, which will be on show at the Earls Court Cycle and motorcycle show next week. This cycle has small 16 inch wheels designed for rapid acceleration and a suspension system which is claimed to give a smooth ride on the roughest roads. Photo shows above, inventor Alex Moulton points out part of the suspension system, and below, a demonstrator shows the motorist's model of the cycle: it breaks in two to fit into boot of a car
