Oct. 31, 1962 - The Pelman Prize of Biology was given to Pierre Douzou, Assistant Director of the biophysics laboratory in the Museum of Natural History, for his research on physical properties that make up living material. Born August 25 1926 in Millau, Pierre Douzou started his scientific research 10 years ago.
