Jul. 07, 1963 - GERMAN DEATH RAY SCIENTIST ASKED TO QUIT SWITZERLAND. German Scientist Dr. Hans Ehrhardt has been asked by the Swiss authorities to leave Switzerland because it is claimed he carried out anti-aircraft death ray tests - financed bya foreign power. He is said to have entered Switzerland in February 1961 under a false name. He had been given permission to experiment on prototypes of shells without cases - instead of which he carried out trials at his home near Sarnen, on a short wave beam - which he claimed was sensational invention - able to bring down aircraft. There has been much speculation in the area around Sarnen - by the bright long distance beam - over the lakes - of late.
