May 05, 1968 - General Medicine Council's disciplinary committee hears charges against Dr. Petro: The General Medical Council's Disciplinary Committee is hearing charges against Dr. John Petro, 62, of Callow Street, Kensington. He admits having been fined £1, 700 at Marylebone recently for failing to keep a register of dangerous drugs, but denies other accusations concerning drugs which are alleged t amount to infamous professional conduct. One of the charges us that he refused to continue prescribing or supplying methedrine to his former secretary, Miss Denise Oran, 19, until she agreed to allow him to photograph her in underclothes or a nightdress.
