Dec. 12, 1965 - Blind persons working as telex typist. Ingenieur Eduard Thiel and his son Hans Joachim from Darmstadt constructed a telegraphic recorder, which makes it possible to be operated by blind persons, During 10 years the two ingenieurs rebuilt a normal telegraphic recorder special for blind people, , from these about 2000 are working in the Federal Republic of Germany in offices. The first 4 blind people were educated in a 8 week course as telex typists. Already at the begin of the new year they will start their new job in Nuremberg.
