Jan. 31, 1970 - Dr. Dieter Eichenlaub is a 31 year old German doctor who, in 1968, went to Biafra in order to help the destitute Igbos in the eastern province of Nigeria. He was reported missing during the country's collapse, and refused to quit his patients and leave the country. Here the doctor is shown back at his home in Stuttgart
