Dr. Mary Valves, 43, a psychiatrist, of Compton Avenue, Parkstone, Pools, Dorset, today appeared before the Disciplinary Committee of the General Medical Council in London, accused of committing adultery with Mr. Richard Bower, a former patients husband, and having a lesbian relationship with a woman patient, a Mrs. X. Dr. Valvis has admitted adultery with Mr.Bower, but denies that she had ever participated in a lesbian relationship with Mrs.X'.
