Feb. 02, 1969 - BRITISH INVENTION LOST TO AMERICA': A British invention which helped to win the last war and is now widely used in Electronics equipment that should have earned this country millions of dollars in royalties was allowed to go to America for a paltry sum the inventor said yesterday. DR PAUL EISLER, 61, who lives in North-West London, invented, developed and pioneered the production of printed electric circuits, using metal foil, which is the basis of many products of the electronics industry. He says his financial return over the past 10 years has been about £20, 000. He said yesterday, It is almost the penicillin story all over again'.
