The skull has been dated at about 1, 000, 000 years earlier than the previous earliest evidence of man, The finder, British anthropologist Richard Leakey, said in London that it challenges existing views on human evolution, The skull was pieced together from fragments found near Lake Rudolf, Kenya, and two complete things bones and parts of the lower leg of two other individuals were found nearby.
