Oct. 10, 1975 - Famous Egyptian Oceanologist advocates the idea of introducing the Pearl Industry: Japan is perhaps the only country manufacturing artificial pearls by industrial methods. Dr. Hames Gohar, a famous Egyptian oceanologist, who has a long career in sea creatures study, claims that the Red Sea is very suitable for the implementation of such industry in Egypt. he is demanding that the Government should send several divers to Japan to study their methods in deriving artificial pearls from the oysters they use to breed.
