Oct. 10, 1975 - The Nobel Prize for Medicine is shared by DR. Renato Dulbecco, 61-year old Italian-born American, who now works at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund Laboratory in London, and American research workers Prof. David Baltimore and Professor Howard Temin. The award was made in recoginition of their discoveries involving interaction between tumour viruses and the genetic material of the cell.
