Oct. 10, 1969 - Longest living heart man dies: Father Damien Doulogne, 58, who became the world's longest surviving heart transplant patient after the death of Dr.Philip Blaiberg in August, died suddenly last night at Broussais hospital in Paris. Father Damien had been given his heart in the same hospital on May 12th, 1968. The operation, the third heart transplant in France, was carried out by Prof. Charles Dubost. Photo shows Father Boulogne who died in Paris last night is seen here celebrating his first public mass January this year after his transplant operation
