Jan. 01, 1963 - Ban The Bomb Man Released From Prison - Champagne Party Outside Wormwood Scrubs: Thirty-one year old Willesden Schoolteacher Desmond Lock who was jailed for nine months in connection with a Committee of 100 demonstration in Parliament Square early this year was released this morning. Some of his friends met him outside the prison for an on-the-spot champagne party to celebrate his release.
