Nov. 11, 1964 - Murder Investigation Aboard The Liner Queen Mary, Crew Members Fill In Questionnaires: Detectives from Scotland Yard yesterday went aboard the liner Queen Mary at Southampton to interview crew members in their efforts to solve the mystery of the murder of 60 year old taxi driver George Newberry - who was found battered to death in a Lover's Lane seven miles from Southampton. George had for many years been driving men from the liner on their visits to the city. On the night of his death two men were seen getting into a taxi near the liner - which later sailed for New York.
