Her now home, a 20, 000 15th century farmhouse stands in 83 acres at Billinghurst. The house was given to Lord Palmer by Queen Elizabeth I, but it rust have looked very different in those far off days, for Diana Dors has filled the oak beamed farmhouse with 20th century amenities, including a bar and a pink and lavender draped bedroom. She also plans to build a swimming pool in the grounds. The upkeep of this now estate is going to be costly, but business like Miss Dors is not worried, although she has not made a film for a long time, she is turning her talents towards the variety stage. Soon she is off to Las Vegas for a month at 6, 000 a week which as Miss Dors says, should pay for a few experiments in agriculture, and keep her streamlined Cadillac on the road as well
