Feb. 02, 1954 - Teenagers At A Swing Session.: in British dance halls, where jazz sessions attract hundreds of teenagers and the floor is so crowded dancing becomes almost impossible, something like hysteria can develop. This picture was taken at the Brighton Aquarium Palace. Nearly 3, 000 young people crowded the hall, many of them climbing on chairs and tables to glimpse their idols of song and hot music when band leader Ted Heath with singers Dickie Valentine and Lita Roza were performing.
