Aug. 08, 1964 - The Film Star Lion cubs: Born in captivity a month ago, lion cubs Oka and Vango will soon be roaming free in an African game reserve. Before being released they are to star in a film, Okavango, telling how Africa's first tribal game reserve was set up in British bechuanaland. The cubs will be flown to the location from Dublin zoo next month to take the parts of the pets of the reserve's pioneers, Robert and June Kay. With the help of a witch-doctor, Mr. and Mrs Kay persuaded a tribal council to set aside 700 square miles of the Okavange swamp region as a protected area for wild life. More than have the profits from the film will be invested in the game reserve.
