Display of canal pleasure craft, Paddington, West London
Mar. 27 Boat through Britain. Few people realise that some of Britain's prettiest countryside is full of canals laid down at the beginning of an industrial age that was limited by methods of transportation. Now they are the haunts of vacationists, and there is even a fleet of boats available for hire. Photo shows three new two-berth cruisers at the Paddington Canal Junction, in the heart of London, during a demonstration of craft that are available for hire for canal cruising
