Sep 15, 1975; London, UK; Within 24 hours of his sensational win in the Leeds International Piano Competition, the young Russian pianist, DMITRI ALEXEEV, has accepted an invitation from Antal Dorati, conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, to open the orchestra's Festival Hall season on September 16th, just three days after winning the world's most coveted piano competition.
