Sep. 09, 1975 - LEEDS PRIZEWINNING RUSSIAN PIANIST TO GIVE LONDON CONCERT TOMORROW Within 24 hours of his sensational win in the Leeds International Piano Competition on Saturday, the young Russian pianist, DMITRI ALEXEEV, has accepted an invitation from ANTAL DORATI, conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, to open the orchestra's season at the Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday, September 16th - just three days after winning the world's most coveted piano competition.
