Aug. 08, 1973 - A hand-made dolls house made of Sir Winston Churchill's cigar boxes sold at Sotheby's for 110: A hand-made doll's house, which includes drawing-room furniture made from cigar boxes donated by Sir Winston Churchill was sold at Sotheby's auction in London today for 110. The dolls house was used to raise money for the Red Cross during the war. The owner was Dawn Ford, wife of a Leicestershire sculptor.
