Donna Gaines and Ron Williams playing chess

Nov. 25, 1969 - Donna Gaines believes it's the right move to make, when she leaves the Isar metropolis, to try her luck on the Thames! The 20 year old lanky American with the powerful voice, shown here with packed suitcases and playing a game with her colleague and companion Ron Williams, was the singing star of the Munich production of Hair. Today she received a long-term recording and television offer from the powerful British-Australian TV producer Vince Melouney, former solo guitarist of the world famous Bee Gees. Donna's international career as a performer of sophisticated pop music can hardly be stopped; and Ron hopes to be at her side as she becomes a huge success as a show star
