Jul. 09, 1968 - Futuristic Car For A New Space Film: The latest space film now being made at Pinewood is called Doppelganger, a story about at American Astronaut in a space exploration drama. The star of the film is 30-year-old Roy Thinnes, an American actor making his film debut. He is better known on American TV for his parts in The Invaders, and The Long Hot Summer. The story of Doppelganger is set in the last decade of this century and concerns the discovery of a planet behind the Sun. Co-starring with Thinnes are Patrick Wymark, Ian Hendry and Herbert Lom.
