Mar. 12, 1968 - March 12, 1968 Mrs. Doris Page receives the MBE Police motorcyclist lift the bed carrying Mrs. Doris Page, 42, from the ambulance to the ground in the quadrangle of Buckingham Palace today. Mrs. page who is a polio victim and uses an iron lung, was wheeled into the Bow Room of the Palace to receive the MBE from Queen Elizabeth II for her work as editor of the magazine Responaut for people living by breathing apparatus. Mrs. Page's husband, Kenneth is pictured at the foot of the bed (left) and one of her two sons is pictured at the head of the bed
