To Make A Return To The London Stage In The Play The Pleasure Of His Company': Douglas Fairbanks Jnr. 66, will be making a return to the London stage when he appears in Samuel Taylor's play The Pleasure Of His Company which opens at the Phoenix Theatre, Charing Cross Road, London, on July 7th, for eight weeks only. The play cannot run any longer without Mr. Fairbanks would be deprived of a vast amount of income by the taxman. His last London appearance was in 1937 with Gertrude Lawrence.
