1960 - Dean of Westminster to assist at wedding of Princess Margaret.: The wedding of Princess Margaret to Antony Armstrong Jones at Westminster Abbey - will be solemnized by the Archbishop of Canterbury - Dr. Geoffrey Fisher - assisted by the Dean of Westminster Dr. Eric Symes Abbott - and the Precentor of Westminster the Rev. C.T. H. Dams. The ceremony will be on May 6th. Photo shows Dr. E. S. Abbott - when he was installed as Dean at Westminster at the Abbey in November last year
