Dr Mahmoud Fawzi of Egypt, trade agreement with Ceylon

Nov. 11, 1954 - Market for Egyptian cotton textiles pact with Ceylon is signed. For the first time a trade and payments agreement has been concluded between Egypt and Ceylon. It was signed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Dr. Mahmoud Fawzi, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs on behalf of the Egyptian Government and Shirley Coria, Minister of Commerce, Trade and Fisheries, on behalf of the Government of Ceylon.
