Dr Walter Kolb, Annette Kolb and Albert Schweitzer

Feb. 02, 1980 - would have been the 105th Birthday of Annette Kolb, German author and pacifist: The tradition of the Bavarian aristocracy and the French artistry was combined in the person of the writer Annette Kolb, who was born on 2 February 1875. The daughter of a Royal Bavarian garden-architect and a French musician was a hard fighter against all modes of terrorism especially of national socialism. During the First World War she fought for peace. In the year 1933 she emigrated to Paris, France where she found a new home. During the occupation of France by the Nazis she lived in New York, USA Annette Kolb died on 3 December 1967 in Munich, West-Germany.
