Drawing of Princess Anne's wedding dress

Nov. 11, 1973 - Princess Anne's Wedding Dress. A drawing of Princess Anne's Wedding Dress designed by Maureen Baker at Susan Small. The dress is of traditional Princess line, emphasised with fine graduated pin tucks. The fabric is white pure silk and has been specially woven for Princess Anne, and is called Soie Annello'. The Elizabethan sleeves (over finely pleated white silk chiffon under sleeves) are delicately edged with pearls and mirror jewels. The transparent shoulder train is made of pure silk net, delicately embroidered with floral sprays of silk and silver thread, embellished with pearls and mirror jewels
