Jan. 01, 1955 - Duke of Edinburgh leaves on world tour wave farewell to each other. H.M. The Queen with Princess Margaret and Princess Anne went to London Airport this morning to bud farewell to the Duke of Edinburgh who left on his world tour. Traveling abroad a Comet IV airliner the Duke's first port of call is Delhi via Tripoli and Aden. Photo shows The Duke of Edinburgh waves from the aircraft - as H.M. the queen (bottom left) turne to wave back. Princess Anne is in the bottom centre looking at her mother this morning
