Feb. 02, 1953 - Duke of Edinburgh receives cheque at Butlin re-union.: H.R.H. the Duke of Edinburgh this evening attended the Butlin Re-Union at the Albert Hall, when he received a cheque for £7, 000 from Mr. W.E. Butlin - representing the contributed by Butlin holidays campers during the 1952 season - in aid of the National Playing Fields Association, of which the Duke is President. Photo shows the Duke of Edinburgh presenting the Challenge Trophy to Mr. Ken Newington, Camp Controller at the Filey camp which contributed most money during the season
