Jul. 07, 1955 - Duke of Edinburgh attends the annual sovereign's parade at Royal Military College -Sandhurst: The Duke of Edinburgh today attended the annual Sovereign's Parade at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, where he took the salute and presented the passing-out prizes. The Duke of Kent was among the officer cadets taking part in the parade, which was watched by his mother, the Duchess of Kent, and his sister, Princess Alexandra.
