Nov. 11, 1965 - The surgeon Duke: Dressed in Surgeon cap and gown, the Duke of Edinburgh yesterday paid visit to badly burned patients at the McIndoe Burns Centre, East Grinstead, Sussex. He was told that the air in the patients totally enclosed glass-walled room was constantly changing, Nurses who go in have to change their clothing to prevent any infection being carried. The Duke also toured the Blood Laboratories at the hospital to see research on conditions affecting grafting of human Organs.
