Feb. 02, 1967 - Duke Of Kent Takes Up Appointment As A General Staff Officer, Grade II.: Major H.R.H. The Duke of Kent, Royal Scots Greys, today reported to Headquarters, Eastern Command, Cavalry Barracks, Hounslow Heath, to take up his appointment as General Staff Officer, Grade II. H.R.H. has recently graduated from the Staff College, Camberley, having previously attended a three-months course at the Royal Military College of Science, Shrivenham. Photo shows H.RH. The Duke of Kent, at Headquarters, Eastern Command, Houslow today, with the man from whom he takes over, Major Derek Brian Edwards, of Devon and Doreet Regt, who is returning to his regiment in Germany. They are both wearing similarly-patterned suits
