Duke of Kent and Katharine Worsley engaged

Mar. 03, 1961 - Duke of Kent to wed in June.: The 25-year old Duke of Kent, cousin of The Queen and eighth in succession to the throne, is to marry 28-year old Miss Katharine Worsley, daughter of Sir William Worsely, Lord Lieutenant of the North Riding of Yorkshire. The wedding is to take place at York Minster on June 8th. The couple first met four years ago when the Duke was with the Royal Scots Greys at Catterick.
