Jul. 07, 1957 - The Rock n Roll Earl Weds Typist Earl Of Wharncliffe - Aline Bruce: The wedding took place yesterday at the Parish Church of St. Mary's Bolsterstone, Yorkshire of the 22 years old Earl of Wharncliffe - known as the Rock n Roll Earl - because he plays the drums in a local jazz group - and 20 year old former typist Aline Bruce - whom he has known since childhood. The bride was given away by her uncle Colonel Nigel Bruce, In ten days time the Earl starts an eight week rock n roll tour of Germany with the Johnny Lennis Jazz Group.
