Feb. 02, 1967 - Miss Switzerland 1967: Elected by a newspaper's poll with 87, 587 votes out of a total of 360, 019, and from 12 finalists, 18-year old dentist's assistant, Edith Franfel, from Bischefzzell, was elected Miss Switzerland 1967. She will automatically take part in international contests later on this year.
