Dec. 09 Miss Edith Pitt prepares for Downing Street dinner. She is seconding the Queen's speech tomorrow Miss Edith Pitt, Conservative M.P. for Edgbaston is attending the eve of the session dinner at 10. Downing Street this evening. Miss Pitt is the only woman guest at the dinner with 70 men guests. Each of the guests is to receive a copy of the speech which H.M.The Queen is to deliver tomorrow when she opens the Parliament in the House of Lords and Miss Pitt has been chosen to second the speech. She is the fourth woman ever to be 1st into the secrets of the Sovereign's speech in advance.
