Sep. 30, 1973 - Japanese Prime Minister Plays Golf With Mr. Whitelaw At Sandwich Kent: The Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Kakuei Tanaka, who arrived in London yesterday, for a four day visit was at the Royal St George golf course this morning for a nine hole round of golf, his partner was Mr. William Whitelaw. Secretary of Northern Ireland, and their opponents were Mr. Mori, the Japanese Ambassador, and a past St. George's Capt, and Walker Cup Capt G.A. Hill. During the games The British Prime Minister Mr. Edward Heath arrived on the course and meet up with the Japanese Prime Minister and then had lunch in the clubhouse. photo shows.
