Nov. 26, 1966 - Nasser-Kennedy Talks On UAR-US Ties: Cairo, UAR: UAR President Nasser today received US Senator Edward Kennedy, Chairman of the refugees committee of the US Congress and had Frank talks on relations between the two countries, situation in the middle east, nature od differences in the area and the situation in South-East Asia. The Meeting was attended by Mr John Tony, members of the the congress (R) and US Ambassador to Cairo Mr. Lucius Battle (L). During his stay here which is part of a tour of Middle Eastern countries, Mr. Kennedy had talks with a number of UAR Senator officials including National Assembly speaker Anwar Sadat, ASU Secretary General and Vice-President Aly Sabry and [rime Minister Mohamed Sidky Solimen
