Electro Golf demonstration, American Trade Centre, London

Sep. 09, 1963 - Demonstration Of Electro Golf in London: Electro Golf - the latest gimmick from the United States was demonstrated this afternoon by Thomas C. Whitmire of the Brunswick International Sports Division, Chicago, at the American Trade Centre in London. Electro Golf can be played indoors. In a netted area 10 ft by 15 ft and 10 ft high the golfer drives at a painted background which represents a golf course. An electronic computer simulates actual golfing conditions and calculates the force and direction of the drive. Photo Shows: Thomas C. Whitmire as he demonstrated the Electro Golf this afternoon
