Elevate of Eastfield pedigree bull, world record price paid

Feb. 02, 1959 - 3, 500 Champion Bought For US: 3, 500, the highest ever for a bull at the Aberdeen Angus Show and Sale at Perth, Scotland, was paid for the 13-month-old champion, Elevate of Eastfield. The purchaser was Mr. Robert A Graham of Shadwell, Virginia, who was among the American breeders who paid a total of 21, 567 for 12 bulls and became the biggest buyers at the two-day event at which many countries were represented.
