Jan. 14, 1953 - Private View of the Selected British entries for International Sculpture Competition. A private view was held at the new Burlington Galleries this afternoon of the twelve British entries that have been selected to represent Britain in the World Sculpture Competition - organised by the London Institute of Contemporary Art. More than 3, 500 entries from 57 countries were received -and the winner will receive 11, 500. The theme of the contest is The unknown Political prisoner'. Photo shows Elisabeth Frink who lives in Chelsea looking at her entry which she describes as a Man who has suffered - and he is holding a Raven -which represents Evil
