Aug. 08, 1976 - BBC-2 presents the Glyndebourne Festival Opera's production of Capriccio, by Richard Strauss, on Saturday March 19. This marks BBC-tv's first visit to Glyndebourne for five years. It is also the first opera from Glyndebourne to be recorded in stereo, and will be broadcast simultaneously on Radio 3. An international cast, headed by Swedish soprano Elisabeth Soderstrom, sings in German with English subtitles throughout. The opera is produced by John Cox, and presented for television by John Vernon. Elisabeth Soderstrom as the Countess
