Sixteen British migrants flying to Australia got a champagne send-off today from London Airport - just because they have the same name. The coincidence should also ensure a special welcome when they arrive in Sydney, exactly 200 years after their famous namesake Captain James Cook. The emigrants, all named Cook or Cooke, will land at Sydney's international airport within sight of Botany Bay where Captain Cook first landed in Australia on April 29. 1770. The 13, 000 mile trip in B.O.A.C. Boeing 707 should be less tedious than Cook's historic voyage said an Australia House spokesman. They will land in Australia only 31 hours after leaving London.
